TKG+, the contemporary platform of the Tina Keng Gallery is delighted to present the works of Wang Yahui, Charwei Tsai, Su Yu-Hsien and Chen Ching-Yuan at Art Taipei 2013. TKG+ opened its expansive space in Neihu, Taipei in October 2009. Its mission is to promote and support the most interesting and significant contemporary art from the region. The gallery works with emerging artists and privileges experimentation in art across different mediums, from video and photography to installation and new media. As its name suggests, TKG+ believes in the exponential growth and possibility of art in the 21st century.
Works of Wang Yahui such ‘‘Leaf holes” and “The Void” as are firmly rooted in her close observation of the quotidian. Charwei Tsai will present “Lanyu” & “A Dedication to the Victims of the Tsunami of March 11, 2011” as she reflects on spirituality and temporality, through a meditation on the seminal Buddhist text Heart Sutra, by delicately inscribing the words onto material surfaces. Su Yu-Hsien focuses on the on the nonobjective space between the subject and the object. Chen Ching-Yuan on the other way is presenting his latest single channel video at the art fair. Furthermore, the opening reception for his solo exhibition at TKG+ Projects will be held on November 9th, 2013. A shuttle bus will be arranged at 5:45pm–6:00pm at Entrance B of the Art Fair venue.
