The participants will be guided to analysis two or three objects with careful understanding in every “Object-based Context” workshop, as well as their related folktales and texts. The discussions and developments will relate to the content of the exhibiting work “Yi”.

This workshop retrieves the characteristics of luster and smoothness of pots, knives, and other metal kitchenware and their weight when held in the hand; it further investigates how these things can help us trace back to their heated and cold nature.

This workshop uses daily necessaries such as fabrics, paper, wooden tables and chairs to keep in mind their plant features with the dense and dry texture, along with the premonition of what they will become.
Tracing back to the objects in folk narratives III

In folklores, the features of daily necessaries are often reconstructed and extended, contributing to imaginary things only existing in verbal stories. This workshop aims to look into how these imaginary things help people understand the different elements that make up these objects.
