Thinking Cool : Wang Ya-hui + Charwei Tsai + Wu Chi-Tsung + Su Yu-Hsien

From August 26 to September 11, 2011, TKG⁺ (Tunnan) will present the work of four artists, Su Yu-Hsien (b. 1982), Charwei Tsai (b. 1980), Wang Ya-Hui (b. 1973), and Wu Chi-Tsung (b. 1981) in the exhibition Thinking Cool.  Some of the works of Thinking Cool playfully accentuate a summery view of the fantastic, such as the photograph Unicorn (2010) by Su Yu-Hsien and the video The Tropical Work: Snowman (2008) by Wang Ya-Hui.  Circle I (2009) by Charwei Tsai and Still Life 02 - Orchid (2009) by Wu Chi-Tsung take on a more contemplative tone.  The works of In the Midst of Summer suggest different ways of viewing reality and a refreshing end to the summer.
